From drawing to delivery

The order comes home to Georgia twice.

ORM USA is the U.S. customer-facing control point before manufacturing begins and again after production returns from India. That creates a deliberate chain of custody for samples, technical information, production and final distribution.

01

U.S. customer → ORM USA

Customer sends the purchase requirement, drawings, CAD, specifications and any physical samples to ORM USA headquarters in Kennesaw, Georgia.

02

Commercial & technical intake

ORM USA organizes the program package, confirms commercial requirements, identifies missing information and prepares physical samples and technical documentation for controlled transfer.

03

Secure Georgia → India transfer

Approved samples and technical information are packaged and transferred to ORM Global Manufacturing in India using controlled logistics and need-to-know access.

04

Engineering study & DFM

ORM Global Manufacturing studies the sample, drawing, material, tolerances, annual demand, tooling requirement and inspection risk before selecting the manufacturing route.

05

Tooling, prototype & production

Tooling or fixtures are developed as required. Initial parts establish the process baseline before repeat production is released.

06

Quality release

Incoming, in-process and final inspection are applied to the defined control plan. FAI, dimensional reports, material records or PPAP support are added where the program requires them.

07

Pack & export India → Georgia

Released product is packed by ORM Global Manufacturing for international transport and exported back to ORM USA headquarters in Georgia.

08

ORM USA → final customer

ORM USA receives the production, coordinates final U.S. distribution and maintains the customer-facing commercial relationship through delivery and repeat orders.

Why route it this way?

A control point on both sides of manufacturing.

The model is designed to reduce the communication, sample-handling and accountability gap that often exists in international sourcing.

CHAIN OF CUSTODY

Physical samples stay controlled

Customer samples can be received, identified, packaged and transferred through ORM rather than sent into an unmanaged vendor chain.

COMMERCIAL OWNERSHIP

U.S. point of contact

The customer has a U.S.-based ORM entity responsible for the commercial relationship and coordination.

MANUFACTURING OWNERSHIP

India-side execution

ORM Global Manufacturing owns the DFM, route selection, production coordination, quality release and export preparation.

Confidential programs

Your sample is not a sales prop.

Drawings, CAD, samples, tooling concepts and customer-identifying program information are handled as confidential manufacturing information. Public use of a customer name, logo, product photo or project detail requires approval.
