Your drawings are business-critical information.
This policy explains how ORM USA, LLC and ORM Global Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. collect, use and protect information submitted through this website, including RFQs and technical files.
Who this applies to.
This website represents ORM USA, LLC and ORM Global Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. (collectively, “ORM”). Privacy questions may be sent to mayur@ormengineering.com.
Information we collect
When you submit an RFQ or contact ORM, we may collect your name, company, email address, phone number, country, project details, commercial requirements, technical requirements, drawings, CAD files, photographs, specifications and other information you choose to provide.
For basic first-party website analytics, ORM may record page paths, referring pages and limited event information such as whether a visitor opened the RFQ page or downloaded the capability statement. This implementation does not use advertising trackers or create a cross-site advertising profile.
How we use information
Information is used to review manufacturing opportunities, prepare quotations, communicate with customers and prospective customers, assess manufacturability, plan production, support quality and logistics activities, maintain business records, improve the website and protect ORM systems.
Technical files
Technical files submitted through the RFQ system are intended to be stored in private access-controlled infrastructure. They are not published on the public website. Access is limited to ORM personnel and approved manufacturing, engineering, quality, logistics or professional-service parties who need the information for the relevant program and who are expected to handle it confidentially.
Cross-border handling
Because ORM operates through ORM USA in the United States and ORM Global Manufacturing in India, information relevant to a manufacturing program may be accessed or transferred between the United States and India and, when necessary, to approved suppliers or service providers supporting the program.
Retention
ORM retains business and technical information for as long as reasonably necessary for quotation, project execution, quality, legal, contractual, accounting, dispute-resolution and legitimate business-record purposes. Retention may vary by program and customer requirement.
Service providers
ORM may use infrastructure, hosting, storage, email, analytics and security providers to operate the website and RFQ system. Those providers receive only the information necessary to provide their services and are subject to their own contractual and security obligations.
Your choices
You may contact ORM to ask about personal information you previously submitted, request correction of inaccurate contact information or ask whether information can be deleted, subject to legal, contractual, quality and record-retention obligations.
Security
ORM uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet system can be guaranteed to be completely secure; customers with highly sensitive programs may request an NDA or alternate controlled transfer method before sending technical files.
Changes
This policy may be updated as ORM systems, services or legal requirements change. The version posted on this website is the current website policy.
For proprietary CAD, samples, inventions or pre-release products, review our Confidentiality & NDA page before submission.
